Hey folks! I'm back once again to talk about the hottest new AI tool from Google that just dropped about a week ago. It's called NotebookLM, and it's a new podcasting tool that's almost scary because it sounds remarkably human-like. Let me walk you through it.
First Impressions
When you first look at it, it doesn't seem very impressive. However, imagine this: you can take content from your website, YouTube videos, PDF documents, links, Google Docs, Google Slides, or even just copy and paste text into it. The tool then takes that information and creates an incredible podcast.
Real-World Testing
To demonstrate, I'm going to use the House to Home Team's website, a real estate team here in Barry. I'll simply grab their URL and copy it. Remember, you can use PDFs and other documents to create these amazingly good podcasts.
Quick Results
Within seconds of pasting the URL, the system created:
A summary
A fact guide sheet
A podcast of up to 16 minutes
Use Cases
There are several ways you can utilize this tool:
Converting website content into engaging podcasts
Transforming lengthy, boring documents into listenable content
Simplifying complex information into digestible audio format
Sharing content across social media platforms or websites
The Demo
Let me share what the AI-generated podcast sounds like:
[Transcript of the AI-generated podcast] "So like you're looking for a new place right? Not just a house, like a real home, and that means thinking about the community just as much as the property itself... We're going to deep dive into what makes a community feel like home, focusing on Barry and some other spots in Simcoe County, Ontario..."
The podcast went on to discuss Jillian Lynch and Teresa Serr's real estate team, highlighting interesting details like Teresa's Guinness World Record for the longest hug and Jill's passion for design, comparing her style to "Gains meets real estate."
The Best Part?
Here's the kicker - this incredible technology from Google is 100% FREE! All you need is a Gmail account. It creates fact sheets, study guides, and table of contents. I wish I had this technology when I was in school!
To access this tool, just Google "NotebookLM." Watch out for my other short videos, and thank you for watching!
If you're ready to embrace the AI revolution, let's talk!
